As I said in my presentation post, sometimes I would publish ‘random’ posts about things that I like or that are interesting to talk about.

This is one of those posts. Today I’m gonna talk about Marco Mengoni’s new album #PRONTOACORRERE and about him in general. Why? Because he’s my favourite singer!!

When you share your life, or part of it with other people I think it’s important to know things like what kind of music you listen or what kind of movies do you like  and things like that. So this is my time to talk with you about music!

I mostly listen music from USA, a few of italian artists and some others artists around the world. Marco Mengoni is the first italian singer that impressed me since the first time I listened to him. For the one who doesn’t know, he took part of the third edition of the italian Xfactor and he won. Since the first casting he showed how special and ‘different’ he was. I remember me and my mum watching that and my mum saying (before to know he was taken) ‘he’s gonna win this year!’. During the show he tried different kind of music matching up with all the singer he was covering. After winning he entered directly to the Festival di Sanremo. He placed third and from that moment was all a big succes. His first EP came out after Xfactor, and the first album right after Sanremo. Then his first tour in summer, all around Italy, with us, his crazy fans, showing all our love for him. After this tour a new album, with the songs live from the tour. In october of that year Marco was the first italian ever winning Best European Act at the MTV Music Awards. The year after came out his third album, and again another succes. And then another tour around Italy started. Then this year Marco took part of Festival di Sanremo for the second time and he won. He was also selected to represent Italy at the Eurovision Song Contest. Just a week ago was published the fourth album, and from my humble point of wiew it’s the most amazing of the four.

I just can’t stop listening it!! If u ask me to pick my favorite song it would be really hard! I would probably say ‘La vita non ascolta‘ because the lyrics are really close to my life, but really I’m in love with every song!

Friday I had the chance, with my friend Ludovica, to meet Marco in Reggio Emilia and was one of the biggest emotion I’ve ever had, and also a day to remember forever ❤

Come ho detto nel mio post di presentazione, ogni tanto pubblicherò ‘random’ post riguardanti cose che mi piacciono o che trovo interessanti.

Questo è uno di quei post. Oggi parlerò del nuovo album di Marco Mengoni #PRONTOACORRERE e di lui in generale. Perchè? Perchè è il mio cantante preferito!

Quando condividi la tua vita, o parte di essa con qualcuno credo sia importante conoscere il tipo di musica che ascolti, i film che ti piace guardare e cose come queste. Quindi è arrivato per me il momento di parlare di musica!

Ascolto principalmente musica proveniente dagli USA, qualche artista italiano e qualche altro artista proveniente da altri paesi del mondo. Marco Mengoni è stato il primo artista che mi ha impressionata sin dalla prima volta che l’ho ascoltato. Per chi non lo sapesse: ha preso parte alla terza edizione di Xfactor italiano vincendola. Sin dal primo provino ha mostrato quanto speciale e ‘diverso’ fosse. Mi ricordo quando io e mia mamma abbiamo visto quel provino e lei (senza sapere che fosse stato preso) aveva detto ‘quest’anno vince lui!’. Durante lo show provò diversi tipi di musica dimostrando di essere all’altezza degli artisti di cui interpretava le canzoni. Dopo aver vinto entrò direttamente al Festival di Sanremo. Arrivò terzo e da qual momento ogni cosa è stata un grande successo. Il suo primo EP è uscito dopo Xfactor e il primo album appena dopo Sanremo. In estate iniziò il suo primo tour in giro per l’Italia, con noi, i suoi fan sfegatati a mostrargli tutto il nostro amore per lui. Dopo questo tour arrivò un nuovo album con le canzoni estratte dal live. Nell’ottobre di quell’anno Marco fu il primo italiano a vincere il Best European Act agli MTV Music Awards. L’anno dopo uscì il terzo album e fu di nuovo un successo. E poi iniziò un nuovo tour in giro per l’Italia. Quest’anno Marco ha preso parte per la seconda volta al Festival di Sanremo vincendo. E’ stato inoltre selezionato per rappresentare l’Italia all’Eurovision Song Contest. Giusto una settimana fa è stato pubblicato il suo quarto album e dal mio modesto punto di vista è il migliore dei quattro.

Non riesco a smettere di ascoltarlo!! Se mi chiedete di scegliere la mia canzone preferita è davvero difficile! Vi direi ‘La vita non ascolta‘ perchè il testo è molto vicino alla mia vita, ma davvero sono innamorata di tutte le canzoni!

Venerdì ho avuto la possibilità, con la mia amica Ludovica, di incontrare Marco a Reggio Emilia ed è stata una delle più grandi emozioni che ho mai avuto, sicuramente un giorno da ricordare per sempre ❤
