And here we are, with a day of delay, dear me! We are celebrating the 8th birthday of this little web space of mine! Surely a strange year for all of us, something never lived before, that anyway has been of use on a working level in this field, at least for me. As you’ll see little by little by clicking on the different photos, the companies I’ve worked with in these past 12 months are really a lot, even if I have to admit, it’s instagram the one that really gives ‘prestige’ to it all. Blogs during these years have no longer the success they had in the past, but differently from other ‘collegues’ that completely abandoned their platforms, I really like coming here telling with more words and photos in a better quality my life and work experiences. I do not hide from you that I’ve already concluded on paper many collabs for the year 2021, and you’ll see them soon on both channels! I’d like to give you a little spoiler: tourism boards. Ok, let’s say a few words more as you may have understood something through ig. This year I’ve been in Switzerland, and here I’ve collaborated with exhibits curators and local tourism boards to give you a fully detailed guide of the places I’ve visited, to whom I’ve added some personal tidbit.
In referral to life outside the internet, obviously the very large majority of my projects for the past year went up in flames, not to say them all. First of all the house, where the construction has been blocked by the continuous lockdowns and where I’ll enter officially the 15th of January, unofficially later as much as probably for that day I’ll have only a few forniture, as also the productions have been slowed down. Travels have been cancelled, apart from Bormio in January, I’ve than made a few flying visit on my beloved Garda lake, both for work and pleasure e has I’ve said before, I’ve been to Switzerland, here too both for work and personal desire. It also have been the only time I’ve crossed the border, without counting I’ve done it by train, this year again no plane has been taken. Overseas trips haven’t even been considered. My hope is to go to New York before the year ends, I miss it in a visceral way, but let’s say it: the US sanitary system hasn’t handled against the evilness of the virus, and I don’t want to risk until I’ll feel safe. We have to say that soon I’ll be vaccinated! Yes, the pharmacists will get their vaccine with the first group, I gave the acceptance the 31st of December and I’m more than excited. Canada will fall through surely this year too, not (only) for the sanitary fear, but also, if you remember, I should have gone with my sister and brother-in-law and instead in four months I’ll become an aunt!!! The biggest joy of this past year has been knowing that this wonderful creature will be born, Sofia, to cheer up the life of all the family. Surely with me, she’ll be the most pampered girl on the planet! We hope we’ll go in 2022, when the baby will be a little older, even if maybe I could be the unable one, ahah! I’d like to go instead with my girls a week in Florida, in the amusement park in the Orlando zone, we’ll see what the situation will be. Moreover I’d like to go for a road trip in the south of England, concluding with a few days in London, another city that I ‘need’. Last, for timing line, when December will come, I’d like to visit different Christmas markets, starting from the north of Italy, crossing Switzerland and reaching Alsace, to finally arrive to the most beautiful in the world in my beloved Strasbourg. Anyway I’m not deluding myself, I know that everything will be possible only if the sanitary conditions will get better, but I’m The Queen of Dreaming, if I didn’t dream a bit this blog will have no sense at all. I’ve mentioned my job at the pharmacy, that this year has radically and deeply changed and that, onestly, I don’t think will ever change back as it was before. I don’t know if this is good or bad, but I know that I’m working on big projects here too, a lot in my style for when we’ll get back to a more normal life. I’m really superstitious and I won’t tell you what’s on my mind, the only one that knows it it’s my best friend and I can tell you that when I told her, she didn’t get perturbed, she didn’t said to me ‘you are crazy’ like when she tries to put my feet back on the ground, she was totally expecting something like it from me. The only thing more that I can add is that my eyes are full of tears of joy only thinking about it, only comparable to be the auntie of Sofia.
And now my friends I leave you with all the memories of this year spent together, if you want to tell me your projects for the future I’ll be happy to read you and remember… don’t ever forget to dream!
Ed eccoci qui, ahimè con un giorno di ritardo, a festeggiare l’ottavo compleanno di questo mio piccolo spazio online! Un anno sicuramente strano per tutti noi, qualcosa di mai vissuto fino ad ora, che tuttavia ha giovato molto a livello lavorativo in questo campo, almeno per me. Come vedrete cliccando man mano sulle varie foto, sono veramente tante le aziende con cui ho collaborato nei 12 mesi passati, anche se devo ammettere, è instagram quello che dà davvero ‘lustro’ a tutto quanto. I blog in questi anni non hanno più il successo del passato, ma a differenza di altri ‘colleghi’ che hanno completamente abbandonato le loro piattaforme, io ho piacere nel venire anche qui a raccontare con più parole e con foto in qualità maggiore le mie eperienze di vita e di lavoro. Non vi nascondo che anche per il 2021 ho concluso già molte collaborazioni sulla carta e le vedrete presto su entrambi i canali! Mi piace lasciarvi un piccolo spoiler: enti del turismo. Ok, dai due parole in più perchè forse di qualcosa vi sarete già accorti su ig. Quest’anno sono stata in Svizzera e qui ho collaborato con curatori di mostre ed enti del turismo locale per portarvi una dettagliata guida dei posti che ho visitato, a cui ovviamente ho aggiunto qualche chicca mia personale.
Per la vita fuori dall’internet ovviamente la stragrande maggioranza dei progetti che avevo per l’anno passato sono andati in fumo, per non dire forse tutti. Prima di tutte la casa, i cui lavori sono stati bloccati dai continui lockdown e in cui entrerò ufficialmente il 15 gennaio, ufficiosamente più tardi in quanto probabilmente per quel giorno avrò ancora pochissimi mobili, poichè anche le produzioni sono rallentate. I viaggi ovviamente sono stati tutti cancellati, al di là di Bormio a gennaio, ho poi fatto qualche capatina sul mio amato lago di Garda, sia per lavoro che per piacere e come vi dicevo poco fa, in Svizzera, anche qui un po’ per lavoro e un po’ per desiderio mio personale. E’ stata anche l’unica volta che ho attraversato il confine, senza contare che l’ho fatto via treno, e anche quest’anno nessun aereo è stato preso. I viaggi oltreoceano neanche considerati. La mia speranza è di andare a New York entro fine anno, mi manca in modo viscerale, ma diciamolo il sistema sanitario degli USA non ha retto di fronte alla cattiveria del virus, e non voglio rischiare finchè non mi sentirò al sicuro. C’è da dire che presto verrò vaccinata! Eh sì, noi farmacisti verremo vaccinati col primo gruppo, ho dato l’adesione il 31 dicembre e sono più che estasiata. Il Canada sicuramente salterà anche quest’anno, non (solo) per la paura sanitaria, ma perchè se ricordate sarei dovuta partire con mia sorella e mio cognato e invece nel giro di quattro mesi sarò zia!!! La gioia più grande di questo anno passato è sapere che arriverà questa meravigliosa creatura, Sofia, a rallegrare le vite di tutta la famiglia. Sicuramente con me come zia sarà la bambina più viziata del mondo! Puntiamo al 2022 quando la bimba sarà un po’ più grandicella, sempre che poi non sia io quella impossibilitata ahah! Mi piacerebbe invece andare con le mie amiche una settimana in Florida, nei parchi dei divertimenti nella zona di Orlando, vedremo come sarà la situazione. Vorrei inoltre fare un giro in macchina nella parte sud dell’Inghilterra, per poi concludere con qualche giorno a Londra, altra città di cui sento il ‘bisogno’. Ultimo, per linea temporale, quando arriverà dicembre vorrei andare per mercatini di Natale, partendo dal nord Italia, passando per la Svizzera e salendo in Alsazia, fino ad arrivare al più bello del mondo nella mia amata Strasburgo. Tuttavia non mi illudo, so che tutto questo sarà possibile solo se le condizioni miglioreranno, ma d’altronde sono La Regina del Sognare, se non sognassi un po’ questo blog non avrebbe senso di esistere. Ho menzionato il mio lavoro in farmacia, che quest’anno si è radicalmente e profondamente trasformato e che, onestamente, non penso tornerà mai del tutto come prima. Non so se sia un bene o un male, ma so che sto lavorando anche qui a dei progetti molto nelle mie corde per quando si tornerà alla normalità. Sono molto scaramantica e non ve ne parlerò, l’unica che li conosce è la mia migliore amica e vi posso dire che quando gliel’ho detto non si è scomposta, non mi ha detto ‘tu sei pazza’ come quando cerca di rimettermi in carreggiata, si aspettava da me qualcosa di questo genere. L’unica cosa che vi posso aggiungere è che in questo momento i miei occhi sono pieni di lacrime di gioia solo al pensiero, paragonabile solo ad essere la zia della Sofia.
