Notino: All the products I’ve tested.

My collab with Notino is still going on, this time I’ve tested a face cream: Blue Therapy Multi Defence by Biotherm.

The idea that gave birth to this cream is that protecting the skin, it will be able to fix itself and so to look young. This way Biotherm patented the Broad Outdoor Defense Complex, that thanks to the Baicalin extract and Furcellaria Seaweed that are inside it, protects the skin from UVB and UVA rays and pollution. Furthermore a 25 sunscreen is added to the formulation.

Baicalin is a plant rich in flavonoids who are strong anti-oxidants. What is the effect of an anti-oxidant on the skin? To slow skin aging caused by free radicals that form when it’s exposed without protection to UVs.

Furcellaria Seaweed on the other side is able to fight skin dehydratation caused by pollution.

I have ti admit that when I read what it’s inside this cream I was so excited and I couldn’t wait to try it, out ot curiosity I read some reviews on the web and they were very conflicting.

I’ve applied it on face and neck morning and night till I’ve finished it, this is what I’ve observed:

Since the first application I’ve confermed what I’ve read in many reviews: it was difficult to apply. Applying it with my beloved Silkn, at the end both on it and on my skin there were some hard white clumps left of product. They are definitely unaesthetic and a problem if you want to put make up on the top of it. By the way for the first days my skin looked in good conditions and really relaxed. In the long term it started looking quite dry, still looking relaxed. I think that it’s a huge formulation problem for a cream that costs more than 50€ to the public. It’s true that we are not all the same and in fact I’ve also read some good reviews, but since I have studied how to prepare a cream and I’ve also made a lot of them both at university and at work I can easily say that the ratio between fat and watery component and their relationship with the solid part should be inspected. I, anyway, see that it can do its primary functions, so if you want to give this cream a try, my advice is to try it first asking for a tester.

Continua la mia collaborazione con Notino, questa volta ho provato una crema viso: Blue Therapy Multi Defence di Biotherm.

L’idea su cui è stata creata questa crema è quella per cui proteggendo la pelle questa sia poi in grado di ripararsi e quindi di mantenersi giovane. Così facendo Biotherm ha brevettato il Broad Outdoor Defense Complex che grazie alle proprietà dell’estratto di Baicalina e dell’Alga Furcellaria in esso contenute protegge contro raggi UVB, UVA e inquinamento. Alla formulazione è inoltre stato aggiunto uno schermo 25.

La Baicalina è una pianta ricca in flavonoidi i quali sono potenti antiossidanti. Che effetto ha un antissodante sulla pelle? Quello di rallentare l’invecchiamento cellulare causato dai radicali liberi che si formano proprio quando questa è esposta non protetta ai raggi UV.

L’Alga Furcellaria invece è in grado di combattere la disidratazione della pelle che è causata dall’inquinamento.

Devo ammettere che quando ho letto cosa conteneva questa crema ero esaltatissima e non vedevo l’ora di provarla, per curiosità avevo letto in giro qualche recensione e vedevo opinioni molto contrastanti.

L’ho applicata mattina e sera su viso e collo fino all’esaurimento, questo è quello che ho riscontrato:

Sin dalla prima applicazione ho confermato ciò che avevo letto in svariate recensioni: difficoltà nell’applicazione. Applicandola col mio solito Silkn, alla fine del massaggio su questo e sul mio viso rimanevano dei piccoli grumi bianchi di prodotto duro. Decisamente antiestetici e problematici per poi applicarvi sopra il trucco. Tuttavia per i primi giorni la mia pelle mi è parsa in buono stato e molto distesa. A lungo andare invece ha iniziato a seccarsi visibilmente, mantenendo comunque l’aspetto disteso. Credo che questo sia un problema di formulazione importante per una crema che costa oltre 50€ al pubblico. E’ anche vero che non siamo tutti uguali e infatti ho trovato anche alcune recensioni positive, ma avendo studiato come si prepari una crema e avendone preparate in università e per lavoro molte io stessa mi vien da dire che il rapporto tra componenti grasse e acquose con le componenti solide andrebbe rivisto. Credo comunque che svolga le funzioni che si propone, perciò se volete utilizzarla vi consiglio come primo step di testarla richiedendo un campione.

Yves Rocher: All the products I’ve tested.

While my Yves Rocher collaboration goes on I like to keep you posted on the different products they send me and make me try, as also I’ll be posting shorter version on my instagram. I also hope that these suggestions I make will help you to remember to always take care of yourself, despite the fact we cannot have a social life.

What I received: Anti-Aging Day Cream. This cream, in the complete style of the brand, has vegetal components as active. The exact actives are still covered by patent, what we know is that they are called ‘vegetal nectar’ and that they are extracted from plant’s buds. As you probably know buds are made of stem cells, so we can be pretty sure that whatever this nectar is, it’s full of components used by stem cells themselvs to grove. What can I say after a few days of treatment is that it surely hydrated my skin and made it more resistent to mask stress. I’d also say that I find it more polished from the small wrinkles I have, so it’s definitely approved!

Mentre la mia collaborazione con Yves Rocher continua mi piace tenervi informati sui differenti prodotti che mi inviano e mi fanno provare, siccome posterò anche una versione ridotta sul mio instagram. Spero inoltre che questi miei consigli vi ricordino di prendervi sempre cura di voi stessi nonostante non possiamo avere una vita sociale.

Cosa ho ricevuto: Crema Giorno Anti-Età. Questa crema, nel completo stile del brand, ha componenti vegetali come attivi. Gli attivi esatti sono ancora coperti da brevetto, ma sappiamo che sono chiamati ‘nettare vegetale’ e che sono estratti dalle gemme delle piante. Come probabilmente saprete le gemme sono costituite da cellule staminali, quindi possiamo essere piuttosto sicuri che qualsiasi cosa questo nettare sia, è pieno di componenti usati dalle cellule staminali per crescere. Quello che vi posso dire dopo qualche giorno di trattamento è che la mia pelle è sicuramente più idratata e più resistente allo stress da mascherina. Vi possso anche dire che la trovo più levigata sulle piccole rughe che ho, quindi decisamente approvata!

Here we are with a new goodie by Best Flair that you’ll see soon on instagram. I have already told you everything about the shop and my ideas haven’t changed! We’ll just say a few words about this product they sell here.

What I got: Laufwunder Specific Crem for Dry Skin. This is a cream for feet, expecially if you have dry skin. This has always been a problem of mine, but from what I read and see at work, many people are facing it during this quarantine and I still cannot explain myself why. Working a crazy amount of hours per day standing I use this also for a little massage to my tired feet after the shower and I can honestly that I’m relieved. It’s made out of paraffin that has inside chamomile and soy for an emollient and relaxing effect.

Eccoci di nuovo qui con un bel prodotto nuovo da Best Flair che vedrete presto anche su instagram. Vi ho già detto tutto riguardo questo shop e le mie idee non sono cambiate! Qui vi dirò giusto qualche parola riguardo questo prodotto che vendono.

Cosa ho ricevuto: Laufwunder Crema Specifica per Pelli Screpolate. Questa è una crema per i piedi, specialmente se la pelle è secca. Un problema che personalmente ho da sempre, ma da quello che leggo e sento a lavoro, sta diventando un problema di molti durante questa quarantena e ancora non mi spiego il perchè. Lavorando una marea di ore in piedi, la uso anche per un piccolo massaggio ai miei piedi stanchi dopo la doccia e posso dirvi che mi rilassa molto. E’ fatta di paraffina con al suo interno camomilla e soia per un’azione emolliente e rilassante.

Mi-Ny: my shopping and honest opinion.

Another collab post, this time we move back into beauty! This was, as always, also on my instagram, and it was sponsorized by Mi-Ny.

Shopping experience: The brand is a beauty brand that sells make-up, but it’s more famous for its nail polishes. Both for semi-permanent and normal nail polish. I have to say I haven’t tried the online shop, so the shipping category this time won’t appear. This because I was invited at the shop in Parma where I was kindly guided on choosing what was best for me as a gift.

What I got: Natural Growth Base and Glam Lacquer in the color Bond Street. Why did I choose those? First, it was one year that I was on semi-permanent nails, so they were starting to accuse it and I needed some curative polish. So I choosed for this base that can also work, of course, as a base, healing your nails while you still wear a color on them. For the color I decided for something wintery as this color is. The final result was really good even for me, that I’m not the best one at making my nails, as I always go to the beautician! The color on the base took just a couple wipes to look perfect and it dried pretty fast. The manicure lasted one week perfectly and believe me, on me is quite a long time for a non semi-permanent nail polish.

My final vote for Mi-Ny is definitely a 10/10! I was completely satisfacted by everything and I advice you to try it!

Esperienza di shopping: Questo brand è un brand beauty che vende make-up, ma è soprattutto famoso per i suoi smalti. Sia per quelli semi-permanenti che per quelli classici. Devo dire che non ho provato lo shop online, quindi stavolta non avremo la categoria spedizione. Questo perchè sono stata invitata nello shop di Parma dove sono stata gentilmente guidata nella scelta di ciò che fosse meglio per me come regalo.

Cosa ho ricevuto: Natural Growth Base e Glam Lacquer nel colore Bond Street. Perchè ho scelto proprio questi? Primo, era da un anno che le mie unghie avevano sopra lo smalto semipermanente, quindi iniziavano ad accusarlo e avevo bisogno di uno smalto curativo. Ho scelto, quindi, questa base che lavora, ovviamente, anche da base, curando le unghie mentre potete comunque colorarle. Per il colore ho scelto qualcosa di invernale come è questo smalto. Il risultato finale è stato molto buono, anche per me che non sono decisamente la più brava a farsi le unghie dato che vado sempre dall’estetista! Il colore sulla base ha avuto bisogno solo di un paio di passate per risultare perfetto e si è asciugato piuttosto velocemente. La manicure è durata una settimana che credetemi è un tempo lungo per me quando non metto il semi-permanente.

Il mio voto finale per Mi-Ny è decisamente un 10/10! Sono rimasta completamente soddisfatta e vi invito a provarlo!

Yves Rocher: All the products I’ve tested.

Another beauty review for another collab. I’d say better beauty and more. This time the subject it’s Yves Rocher and as with all previous collabs you’ve seen this going on for months on my instagram. This time is difficult to tell you about shopping experience because as you may know Yves Rocher it’s selled by private sellers, so I’ve received everything from a private seller and if you can’t find a private seller let me know, I’ll give you her number! Also shipping could be a little ambiguos cause the private seller I’m facing to leaves at 8 km of distance from where I live so you can imagine that things come really fast at my door. I prefer to talk more about the products I got so you can decide if you’re interested in this brand.

Un’altra recensione beauty per un’altra collaborazione. Direi beauty e altro. Stavolta parliamo di Yves Rocher e come per le precedenti collaborazioni l’avete vista per mesi sul mio instagram. Questa volta mi viene un po’ difficile parlarvi dell’esperienza di shopping perchè come forse saprete Yves Rocher è venduta da seller privati, quindi ho ricevuto tutto da una seller privata e se non riuscite a trovarne una fatemelo sapere e vi darò il suo numero! Inoltre la spedizione è un po’ ambigua dato che la seller che vi ho detto abita a 8 km da me quindi potete immaginare che tutto mi è arrivato molto rapidamente. Preferisco quindi parlarvi dei vari prodotti che ho ricevuto così che possiate capire se siete interessati a questo brand.

Douglas: All the products I’ve tested.

It’s been hard during these days to find a way to communicate with the world. Being a pharmacist, I’m facing directly with the horrors of this virus everyday and coming home from many hours of work to me is just coming back to my oasis of peace, but telling this to people that is locked inside is often difficult. When I partnered with Douglas to test some of their products I planned big photoshoots in great locations, than all this happened. The options than were two: wait for better photos for my feed or find a way to communicate with people inside my own house. Well, since I’m always looking for helping others I just decided to do my best with what I have, slowly. I felt sorry for Douglas, but I’m much more close to all the people that needs to find inspiration in the small space that surrounds them. Here you’ll find a review of the eshop and of the product that I’ve tested for now, with a shooting that I consider homemade, but still beautiful and moving. Before we start I just want to let you know that you’re not alone, none of us is, even if we feel like it.

Shopping experience: Here we are talking with a pro between the eshops. One of the best cosmetic sellers in the entire planet I’d say. Perfect graphic, perfectly divided in categories with filters inside each one for more specific research. Every product is perfectly described and has a review box.

Shipping: The shipping is super fast, I’ve never waited more than two working days to receive my orders. Every item is perfectly packed.

First product: Roma Passione Eau de Toilette for Women by Laura Biagiotti. This eau de toilette made me dream about Rome, my beloved Rome. About its wonderful women, their style and way of living. This a new version of the first Roma, inspired by roman’s sunset. The essential oils here are so many (pink grapefruit, tangerine, black currant, rose, jasmine, white peony, vanilla, amber and musk), what was more perceptible on my skin was the flower component, that easily stays with you for a day. This is very feminine in my opinion and maybe more ‘adult’ and sensual.

E’ stata dura in questi giorni trovare un modo per comunicare col mondo. Essendo farmacista, mi confronto direttamente con gli orrori di questo virus ogni giorno e tornare a casa dopo tante ore di lavoro per me significa tornare nella mia oasi di pace, ma farlo capire a chi è bloccato in casa tutto il giorno è spesso difficile. Quando ho deciso di collaborare con Douglas per provare alcuni dei loro prodotti avevo pianificato photoshoot bellissimi in altrettanto belle location, poi è successo tutto questo. Le opzioni poi erano due: aspettare per avere foto migliori sul mio feed oppure trovare il modo di comunicare con le persone da dentro la mia casa. Beh, siccome cerco sempre di aiutare gli altri ho deciso di fare del mio meglio con ciò che avevo, con calma. Mi è dispiaciuto per Douglas, ma sono molto più vicina alle persone che hanno bisogno di ispirazione per continuare le loro giornate nel piccolo spazio che le circonda. Qui troverete la mia recensione dell’eshop e del prodotto che ho testato per ora, con uno shooting che considero casalingo, ma comunque bellissimo e commovente. Prima di iniziare voglio solo dirvi che non siete soli, nessuno di noi lo è, anche se è così che ci sentiamo.

Esperienza di shopping: Qui parliamo di un pro tra gli eshops. Uno dei migliori venditori di cosmetici del pianeta direi. Grafica perfetta, perfettamente diviso in categorie con ulteriori filtri all’interno per affinare la ricerca. Ogni prodotto è accuratamente descritto e ha un box per le recensioni.

Spedizione: La spedizione è ultraveloce, non ho mai aspettato più di due giorni lavorativi per ricevere i miei ordini. Ognuno di questi è pefettamente impacchettato.

Primo prodotto: Roma Passione Eau de Toilette per Donne di Laura Biagiotti. Questa eau de toilette mi ha fatta sognare Roma, la mia amata Roma. Mi ha fatto sognare delle sue bellissime donne, del loro stile e la loro vita. Questa è una nuova versione del primo Roma, ispirato ai tramonti romani. E’ un tripudio di oli essenziali (pompelmo rosa, mandarino, ribes nero, rosa, gelsomino, peonia bianca, vaniglia, ambra e muschio), ma quella che era più percettibile sulla mia pelle era la componente floreale, che facilmente mi sono portata dietro tutto il giorno. Per la mia opinione è molto femminile, ‘adulto’ e sensuale.

Today we talk about a collab I’m still doing on instagram in the beauty area. This is with a beauty eshop named Best Flair.

Shopping experience: The website is huge and full of ideas that involves you to buy. I’ve discovered this website a few months ago while I was looking for some professional hair products on the internet. Since than we fall in love with each other and never broke up. The website is a retailer of all the beauty products you could think about, with prices that are a little smaller than usual shops. Everything is properly divided in categories. There’s also a review box for every product.

Shipping: Shipping is extra rapid, normally it takes a couple days to get to me. Once (the time I’ve bought hair products) they had a problem with one product forniture and they contacted me on my phone to tell me about it and ask me if I wanted the other products shipped immediately or I wanted everything together. When I think about perfect shipping service, this is what I’m talking about.

Oggi parliamo di una collaborazione che ho ancora in corso su instagram nell’area beauty. Si tratta di un negozio di prodotti beauty online chiamato Best Flair.

Esperienza di shopping: Il sito è grande e pieno di idee che ti invogliano ad acquistare. L’ho scoperto qualche mese fa mentre cercavo alcuni prodotti per capelli professionali su internet. Da allora ci siamo innamorati e mai più lasciati. Lo shop è un rivenditore di qualsiasi tipo di prodotto beauty vi possa venire in mente, con prezzi un po’ ribassati rispetto alla media. Tutto è appropriatamente diviso in cartelle. C’è anche uno spazio per le recensioni per qualsiasi prodotto.

Spedizione: La spedizione è ultra rapida, normalmente richiede un paio di giorni perchè mi arrivi. Una volta (quella in cui ho acquistato i famosi prodotti per capelli) avevano un problema con la fornitura di uno di questi e mi hanno contattata sul cellulare per spiegarmelo e chiedermi se volessi che gli altri prodotti venissero spediti subito oppure tutto insieme. Quando penso al perfetto servizio di spedizione penso a questo.

First product: Kerastase scented candle. This is the first product I’ve received as a gift and since then it lives in bedroom. I turn it on often and it’s really lasting quite long! Also it feels my bedroom with its perfume even when it’s off. The smell it’s similar to the classical smell tha Kerastase hair products have.

Primo prodotto: candela profumata Kerastase. Questo è il primo prodotto che ho ricevuto come regalo. E da allora vive nella mia camera. La accendo spesso e sta durando veramenre tanto! Inoltre riempie la mia camera col suo profumo anche da spenta. Il profumo è simile a quello classico dei prodotti Kerastase per i capelli.

Today I want to talk with you about another collab that is being on for months on my instagram account, the one with Notino, that is a beauty eshop. As the other times we’re going to judge shopping experience and shipping and then I will tell you a little about the products that I’ve been receiving on the mail box.

Shopping experience: the website is an out-and-out perfumery so you can find perfumes, make up, cosmetics for body and face, for men and women. Everything is properly divided in categories. For every products there’s a description well curated and reviews. Brands are the most famous ones. Why should you shop them here instead of your shop in town? Because sometimes they have big discount!

Shipping: Every package took from 3 to 5 days to get to me. Perfect!

Now let’s have a look at all the different products:

Armani Code: Yes, a men eau de toilette. But I often like more men perfume than women, and even if it wasn’t me choosing it I was definitely happy to try it. This eau de toilette has an oriental vibe. Top notes are bergamot and lemon. Heart notes are star anise, olive tree flower and guaiaco wood. Finally base notes are leather, tonka fava beans and tobacco. You’ll like this perfume if you love lively ones. Despite the black-macho packaging I think also energic women like I am will like it.

Oggi vi voglio parlare di un’altra collaborazione che sta andando avanti da mesi sul mio account instagram, quella con Notino, un eshop beauty. Come le altre volte giudicheremo l’esperienza di shopping e la spedizione e poi vi dirò due parole riguardo i prodotti che ho ricevuto.

Esperienza di shopping: Il sito è una vera e propria profumeria perciò troverete profumi, make up, cosmetici per corpo e viso, per uomini e donne. Tutto è accuratamente diviso per categorie. Per ogni prodotto c’è una descrizione molto curata e recensioni. I brand sono i più famosi. Perchè dunque comprarli qui invece che nel negozio vicino casa? Perchè spesso hanno grandi sconti!

Spedizione: Ogni pacchetto ci ha messo dai 3 ai 5 giorni per arrivarmi. Perfetto!

Ora diamo un occhio ai vari prodotti:

Armani Code: Sì, un’eau de toilette da uomo. Ma spesso preferisco le profumazioni da uomo rispetto a quelle da donna, e anche se non sono stata io a scieglierlo sono stata felice di riceverlo. Questa eau de toilette ha un un’atmosfera orientale. Le note di testa sono bergamotto e limone. Le note di cuore anice stellato, fiore di ulivo e legno di guiaco. Infine le note di fondo sono cuoio, fave tonka e tabacco. Questa profumazione vi piacerà se amate quelle più frizzanti. Nonostante il packaging nero-macho sono convinta che anche le donne energiche come me lo apprezzeranno.

In the end I’ve made it, I recently turned blonde, but if you follow me on instagram you already know. Maybe adding some blue would have been nice, but I’ll do a long trip in a couple week and I’m worried I won’t be able to take care of my hair as necessary with a colour like that, so for now I will just dream looking at this picture!

Alla fine l’ho fatto, sono diventata bionda, ma se mi seguite su instagram già lo sapete. Magari aggiungere un po’ di blu sarebbe stato carino, ma mi aspetta un lungo viaggio tra un paio di settimane e ho paura di non poterli curare come dovrebbero, perciò per ora sogno guardando questa foto!

Happy 5th birthday The Queen Of Dreaming!

Like every year, here I am celebrating the birth of this little space of mine. And like every year I think back at the past year and well, lucky me it ended. It was probably the worst year of my life. In fact it was the year in which I forgot that I have a life, that I’m alive, I wasn’t interested anymore, I was just waiting to die. It was hars af, but I came out of that, I went living abroad all alone and I restarted from a new beginning. Speaking of which, we haven’t actually talk a lot since I moved, I will do a dedicated post soon, I promise, for now I’ll just let you know that probably I’m living the time of my life, and I’m so damn happy I took this decision! As you probably understood, this time I’m not superhappy to talk about my past year because it was full of darkness, the light came back just around september, so I’m just gonna leave here pictures from 2017 blog posts, thanking you for being the cutest followers and my friends (old and new!) and family for always being there for me, something easy to do when I’m happy and very difficult when the only thing I wanted to do was cry. Cheers to a better 2018 for all of us!!

Come ogni anno, eccomi qui a celebrare la nascita di questo mio piccolo spazietto online. E come ogni anno guardo indietro all’anno passato e grazie al cielo che è finita. E’ stato probabilmente l’anno più brutto della mia vita. Per meglio dire l’anno in cui ho dimenticato di averla una vita, in cui ho dimenticato di essere viva, non mi interessava più, aspettavo solo di morire. E’ stata terribilmente dura, ma ne sono uscita, mi sono trasferita da sola all’estero e ricomoinciato da un nuovo inizio. A proposito, non abbiamo parlato molto da quando sono partita, farò un post dedicato presto, promesso, per ora vi dico solo che sto vivendo un momento magico e sono così felice di aver preso questa decisione! Come probabilmente avrete capito, stavolta non sono molto lanciata a parlare del mio anno passato perchè si tratterebbe di parlare del buio che avevo dentro, la luce è tornata solo intorno a settembre, perciò vi lascerò qui una carrellata di foto dai post del 2017 ringranziando voi per essere dei follower fantastici e la mia famiglia e i miei amici (vecchi e nuovi!) per essermi sempre stati accanto, cosa facile da fare quando sono felice, terribilmente difficile quando l’unica cosa che mi interessava fare era piangere. Auguri di un migliore 2018 a tutti noi!!
