My Giffoni Experience 2013

 

Let me say that I’m such a scatterbrain sometimes, but well, I don’t even know how to say it, I TOTALLY FORGOT TO POST THIS ARTICLE ABOUT ONE OF THE GREATEST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE. Ok, I said it. I leave it like I’ve written it one year ago, hope you can feel just a 1% of all my feelings in those days. Enjoy 😉

Lasciatemi dire che sono veramente una smemorata a volte, ma ecco, non so neanche come dirlo, MI SONO COMPLETAMENTE DIMENTICATA DI POSTARE QUESTO ARTICOLO SU UNA DELLE ESPERIENZE PIU’ BELLE DELLA MIA VITA. Ecco, l’ho detto. Ve lo lascio come l’ho scritto un anno fa, spero riusciate a sentire almeno l’1% delle mie emozioni di quei giorni. Godetevelo 😉

And finally here we are, talking about my Giffoni, or better Gleeffoni experience!

At first I planned to make 3 posts: one for each day, but than I decided to prepare a long one!

So.. Let’s start from the beginning of this adventure!

It was tuesday early morning (like 6 o’clock) when Ila came to my house and his father brought us to the railway station in Parma to take our train to Bolonia at 6.46. There we met our first travel buddy: Nicole!

E finalmente ci siamo, a parlare della mia esperienza al Giffoni, o meglio Gleeffoni!

Inizialmente avevo pensato di fare 3 post: uno per ogni giorni, ma poi ho deciso di farne uno unico lungo!

Quindi.. Partiamo dall’inizio di quest’avventura!

Martedì mattina presto (alle 6 all’incirca) Ila è venuta da me e suo padre ci ha portate alla stazione di Parma per prendere il nostro treno per Bologna alle 6.46. Qui ci siamo incontrate con la nostra prima compagna di viaggio: Nicole!

Our last day started at Starbucks in the Disney Village with a Frappuccino.

I do like power mornings, the only way to wake me up. So what’s better for our third day to wake up early, have breakfast, run to Disneyland park and taking pictures trying to put out a sword from a rock? (but we aren’t Artù so we didn’t make it ;-( )

Amo le mattine energiche, l’unico modo per svegliarmi in realtà. Quindi cosa c’è di meglio che svegliarci presto, fare colazione, correre al parco Disneyland e farci foto cercando di tirare fuori la spada dalla roccia? (ma non siamo Artù quindi non ce l’abbiamo fatta ;-( )

Good way to start the day? Do a photoshoot with Goofy! This is at least how we started our second day at the Hotel Cheyenne before having breakfast!

Il modo migliore per iniziare la giornata? Un servizio fotografico con Pippo! Così è iniziato il nostro secondo giorno all’Hotel Cheyenne ancora prima di colazione!

Incendio della Reggia

Today I’m happy like a child cause I passed four exams :)) (still 11 to do!)

I show you some photos and video taken in a very big event here in my town: the Incendio della Reggia. What happens at this event? Well, our Palazzo Ducale is surrounded by fireworks with music and lights that make a magical show! My photo are not good enough to show you how amazing this is so I invite you to come to Colorno in September if you are near here and see it with your eyes! 🙂

Oggi sono felice come una bambina visto che ho passato quattro esami :)) (anche se me ne mancano ancora 11!)

Vi mostro alcune foto scattate durante un importante evento nel mio paese: l’Incendio della Reggia. Cosa succede in questo evento?  Il nostro Palazzo Ducale è circondato da fuochi d’artificio con musica e luci a rendere lo show ancora più magico! Le mie foto non sono abbastanza per farvi vedere quanto sia effettivamente fantastico, quindi vi invito a venire a Colorno in settembre, se siete nei paraggi per vederlo coi vostri occhi!

Tutti matti per Colorno

 

Good morning everyone 🙂

I know, lately I’ve been kinda absent. Forgive me, I’ve been preparing so many exams for university and I barely find time to breathe

Anyway today I want to share with you these photos taken during a big event in Colorno, my town. It’s called Tutti matti per Colorno (translated: everyone crazy for Colorno), it lasts three days over the city center is full of street artists coming from all over the world for making their amazing shows! I attended so many and appreciated them all, they are all so captivating!

The funniest one (in video and photos) was for sure the one of Murmuyo y Metrayeta, two really funny clowns from Chile! They change the show everytime doing scatches with the public, invading homes (yes, CRAZY!), stopping cars and so on. You’ll never know what to expect from them!

If you are near Parma during september, you should really come and enjoy this special weekend!

Buongiorno a tutti 🙂

So che ultimamente sono stata abbastanza assente. Perdonatemi, sto preparando mille esami per l’università e a malapena ho il tempo per respirare

Oggi, in ogni caso, voglio condividere con voi queste foto scattate durante un evento importante a Colorno, il mio paese. La festa si chiama Tutti matti per Colorno, e dura tre giorni nei quali le vie del centro sono piene di artisti di strada venuti per fare i loro spettacoli da tutto il mondo! Ne ho visti tantissimi e li ho apprezzati tutti, sono tutti davvero molto coinvolgenti!

Il più divertente è stato senza ombra di dubbio quello di Murmuyo y Metrayeta, due clown divertentissimi provenienti dal Cile! Cambiano lo spettacolo ogni volta facendo scatch col pubblico, invadendo case (si, ASSURDO!), fermando macchine e così via. Non si sa mai cosa aspettarsi! 

Se siete nella zona di Parma a settembre dovreste veramente venire a godervi questo weekend speciale!

Senigallia: day 1

We are all wrapped up in our bedspreads and I’m here talking to you about my summer holidays, maybe because I need a little sunshine? Who knows! 😉

By the way these are the pictures from my first of four days in Senigallia in August!

Me and Ste took a train from Parma to Senigallia were we joined Ludo who was already there with her mum. During the night out we spend time watching all those cool people at the Summer Jumboree: dressed to 50s and dancing really well, and I also get a tatoo made with airbrush! My hashtag on twitter was #TheQueenOfDreaminggoesonholiday

Siamo tutti avvolti nelle coperte e io vi parlo delle mie vacanze estive, forse perchè ho bisogno di un po’ di sole? Può darsi! 😉

In ogni caso queste sono le mie foto del primo giorno di quattro a Senigallia in agosto!

Io e Ste abbiamo preso un treno da Parma a Senigallia dove abbiamo raggiunto Ludo che si trovava già lì con sua mamma. Durante la serata abbiamo passato il tempo guardando le persone che partecipavano al Summer Jumboree: vestite anni ’50 che ballavano divinamente, e mi sono anche fatta fare un tatuaggio con l’aerografo! Doesn’t matter if you love him or Him

And here we are with the outfit post I told you about yesterday. This is what I wore in a day July to go to work (I’m an english teacher, probably I’ve never told you this!). As you can imagine it was very hot so a top and a mini skirt were absolutely perfect, perfectly combined with a pair of crochet espadrillas!

Ed eccoci con l’outfit post di cui vi ho parlato ieri. Questo è quello che ho indossato in un giorno di luglio per andare a lavoro (sono un’insegnante di inglese, non credo di avervelo mai detto!). Come potete immaginare faceva davvero caldo quindi top e minigonna erano perfetti, perfettamente abbinati ad un paio di espadrillas in crochet!
