We got high one night

 

Finally, I allowed myself a couple of hours out this morning. I needed to breathe a air that is not the one from my studio or my bedroom. I was also able to shoot a couple of photos of my pretty casual outfit. The more I wear this parka, the more I love it, and with the wool inside of it, it keeps really warm. You’ve already seen my H&M bordeaux shirt, which I love for its not conventional shape. And the end a pair of black Levi’s jeans, something everyone of us should have in his wardrobe. Now I’m back in my studio, exams are everyday closer!

Finalmente mi sono concessa un paio di ore fuori stamattina. Avevo bisogno di respirare un’aria che non fosse quella della mia camera o del mio studio. Ho avuto anche un po’ di tempo per scattare un paio di foto del mio outfit abbastanza casual. Più indosso questo parka, più me ne innamoro, e con la lana che ha dentro tiene davvero caldo. La camicetta di H&M me l’avete già vista altre volte, mi piace molto portarla per la sua forma un po’ particolare. E infine un paio di semplici jeans Levi’s neri, che secondo me un classico capo che tutti noi dovremmo avere nel nostro guardaroba. Ora sono di nuovo nel mio studio, gli esami sono sempre più vicini!

Doesn’t let go

 

It’s been a month of personal photos silence. There’s a clear and simple explanation for it: rain. Rain every. Single. Day. God knows how I hate going out in the rain, which I’m forced to, you can imagine taking photos. But let’s talk about what I’m wearing: that jacket. I was with my mum, who wanted to buy me something, in a big shop that sells for the 90% designer items. I was hating everything, everything seemed so boring, until I saw HER (yes, my jacket is a she). Actually it was also one of those rare cheap items around! I immediately fall in love with it and bought it. A simple confirmation that pricey doesn’t mean beautiful, that you should wear what YOU like, not what people say is good and glamour 😉

E’ un mese ormai che non posto mie foto. La spiegazione è chiara e semplice: la pioggia. Pioggia ogni. Singolo. Giorno. Dio solo sa quanto odi uscire sotto la pioggia, cosa che sono costretta a fare, immaginatevi fare foto. Ma parliamo di quello che indosso: questa giacca. Ero con mia mamma, che aveva voglia di comprarmi qualcosa, in un grande negozio che vende per il 90% capi firmati. Più camminavo e più odiavo i vestiti esposti, tutto sembrava noiosissimo, finchè non ho visto LEI. Oltretutto era anche uno di quei rari capi a buon prezzo presenti nel negozio! Me ne sono immadiatamente innamorata e l’ho comprata. Una semplice riprova del fatto che costoso non significa bello, e che ognuno di noi dovrebbe indossare cioò gli piace e non quello che la gente dice essere di moda 😉

I was missing, missing you

 

Something unbelivable happened! Yesterday I came out from university before it was dark outside and also when I was back in Colorno it wasn’t raining so we had the chance to shoot my outfit! Unlucky me the weather changes every half an hour so I’m not able to wear bare legs, sandals and so on, but the good oversize sweater paired with jeans and sneakers is always a good choice, adding something special like this tie!

E’ successo qualcosa di incredibile! Ieri sono uscita dall’università prima che fosse buio e quando sono tornata a Colorno non stava piovendo così siamo riuscite a scattare qualche foto del mio outfit! Sfortunatamente però il tempo cambia ogni mezz’ora quindi non posso permettermi di indossare abiti che mi lascino le gambe scoperte o i sandali, ma adattarmi al buon abbinamento maglione oversize, jeans e sneakers non è mai una brutta idea, specie se aggiungo accessori particolari come questa cravatta!

Milano

If you remember I told you that I was invited in a few parties during Milan fashion week. But I also told you that an important exam for my college was coming in a few days. Well during that week I had to decide ‘to go or not to go?’. I knew that a few parties wouldn’t occupy all my day, but i know myself enough to understand that once in Milan, also during fashion week, I wouldn’t be able to close myself in the hotel studying. What I decided in the end? To stay home. I know that maybe I have lost big opportunities but as soon as I finish my exams, as soon I’ll have more free time. After spending most of my birthday day (you see here how I’ve spent the night) on my quantum mechanics books I understood that I was a little exaggerating so with Ila and Ludo I decided to spend a day in Milan, just going for a walk and shopping. And I really enjoyed it! Here are the photos of my outfit and of my beloved Duomo, and of course of my double chocolate muffin 😉

Se vi ricordate vi avevo detto di essere invitata a qualche festa della Milano fashion week. Ma vi avevo anche detto che avrei avuto un esame importante nel giro di qualche giorno. Durante quella settimana ho quindi pensato ‘vado o non vado?’. Sapevo che qualche festa non avrebbe occupato la mia intera giornata, così come sapevo anche che una volta a Milano, poi durante la  fashion week, non sarei stata in grado di chiudermi in hotel a studiare. Cosa ho deciso alla fine? Di rimanere a casa. So di aver perso forse delle belle opportunità, ma prima finirò gli esami, prima avrò più tempo libero, aver rinunciato a queste feste vorrà dire (spero) avere più tempo per le prossime fashion week. Dopo aver passato però la maggior parte del mio compleanno sui libri di meccanica quantistica però (qui vedete come ho passato la serata) ho capito che stavo forse un po’ esagerando quindi con Ila e Ludo abbiamo deciso di passare una giornata a Milano solo per shopping e passeggiate. Salerno and Giffoni: day 2

 

Our second day started in the early morning, having a big breakfast at the huge buffet in our hotel. Then we went out on the seafront, where we had a little time to shoot my outfit if the day, very casual, in anticipation of the long day coming.

Il nostro secondo giorno è iniziato la mattina presto, con una bella colazione al gigantesco buffet del nostro hotel. Siamo poi uscite sul lungomare, dove abbiamo avuto un po’ di tempo per scattare foto del mio outfit del giorno, molto casual, in previsione della lunga giornata che ci aspettava.
